Job Description

A Bar Supervisor is required for the excellent AA Hotel of The Year. You will demonstrate the very highest of guest care skills.

Must be 18+ as will be serving alcohol unsupervised.

5 days out of 7 days

Uniform provided

Meals on duty

No accommodation available

Salary – dependant on experience.

Job Description

To ensure daily service standards are kept to an excellent level, to be at least commensurate with a four star hotel and/or a three rosette restaurant.

To provide guests with a consistently high quality, enjoyable experience.

To have a passion for and a thorough knowledge of the drinks, cocktails and wines served.

Ensure that profit margins are maintained and agreed costs are not exceeded through effective control systems, including issuing against dockets, accurate administration of charges, wastage control and cash checks.

To maintain the set up, upkeep and cleanliness of the bar/ cellar area.

To ensure all stock items are stored correctly and securely kept.

To ensure regular, efficient and accurate stock takes are conducted.

To train other less experienced or skilled members of staff who work with or report to you.

To maintain a professional, cordial and productive relationship with all other departments of the hotel.
